Barewood doesn't build its own furniture. Instead, we bring together real wood furniture from makers across the U.S. and around the world, so you can compare woods, styles, sizes and finishes in one place. Our Clearwater showroom has sample pieces from every maker, and everything is ordered in for you.
How long does it take?
Lead times depend on the maker and the finish. Unfinished pieces usually arrive in about 2 to 8 weeks depending on the maker. Finished pieces — whether the maker applies the finish or we have it custom finished — usually run about 6 to 10 weeks. Custom-built pieces from Green Gables, Fusion and Fighting Creek's hardwood line take about 12 to 16 weeks, including finishing. Whitewood's prefinished pieces are our quickest route to a finished piece, usually about 2 to 3 weeks. Ask the showroom for current lead times on a specific piece.

Amish Essentials
Amish-built dining, bedroom, living room and office furniture in maple, plus the Belmont bedroom collection in cherry. Dining tables come in round, rectangle, bow-end, boat-shaped and trestle styles at dining and counter height, with coordinating chairs, stools, benches and buffets. Pieces come in the maker's finish options.
Archbold
Bedroom, office and living room furniture in alder and radiata pine, including elevated storage beds, dressers, desks, file cabinets, bookcases and entertainment centers. Pieces come unfinished or with custom finishing.
Durham
Maple bedroom and living room furniture, including beds, dressers and chests, nightstands, mirrors and armoires. Pieces come unfinished, in the maker's finishes, or with custom finishing. Our website shows only part of Durham's catalog, so visit the showroom for more options.
Fighting Creek
Amish-built knotty pine furniture for nearly every room, including bedroom, storage, office, kids' and outdoor pieces, with the option to be finished by Amish craftsmen or locally. Fighting Creek's custom hardwood line is built to order for every room in oak, brown maple, hard maple, hickory, quartersawn white oak, rustic white oak, cherry and sap cherry. Fusion
Amish-built, Amish-finished custom dining, bedroom, living room and office furniture, including dining tables, chairs, buffets and cabinets, built to order in hardwoods including white oak, quartersawn white oak, brown maple and oak, in farmhouse, trestle, Shaker, Mission and modern styles. Fusion isn't shown on our website, so see them in the showroom.
Green Gables
Amish-built custom dining tables, chairs, stools and rockers in hardwoods including oak, brown maple, cherry, hickory and walnut, in Mission, country and colonial styles. Green Gables isn't shown on our website, so see them in the showroom.
IFD

Night and Day

Whitewood and John Thomas Furniture
Parawood furniture for nearly every room, including dining tables, chairs, stools and benches, beds, kids' furniture, desks and occasional tables, plus our small selection of outdoor furniture. Whitewood builds the pieces and John Thomas is their finished line, so many pieces can come to you unfinished, prefinished, or custom finished. The prefinished pieces are our quickest route to a finished piece, usually about 2 to 3 weeks.
Whittier
Alder bedroom, living room and office furniture, including storage beds, dressers, coffee and end tables, entertainment centers, bookcases and desks. Pieces come in the maker's finishes.

Our showroom at 27360 US Hwy 19 N in Clearwater has pieces from every maker we carry, so you can see the wood, the finishes and the build quality of each one side by side before you order. Due to the vast catalog we carry, our floor holds a selection rather than every piece — if there's a particular piece you'd like to see, call ahead and we'll tell you what's out.
