Q: What is the process for buying furniture?

We try to make the furniture buying process as easy as possible, but if you get stuck somewhere, don't worry a friendly member of our staff will be happy to help! So here is the down and dirty on buying our furniture: 1. Pick your item. 2. Pick your finish. 3. Pick up your furniture (or have it delivered). That's it! See? Simple!

 

Q: What materials are your products made from, and are they sustainably sourced?

Barewood sources our furniture from reputable suppliers known for their commitment to sustainability. Each piece of furniture is crafted from real wood, ensuring both quality and environmental responsibility. We sell wood furniture in a large variety of woods including parawood, alder, oak, maple, cherry, knotty pine, radiata pine and more. Q: Does Barewood make furniture?

Here at Barewood we do not make our own furniture, we source them from different manufacturers both local to the US and around the world. 

 

Q: Does Barewood finish furniture?

Barewood has partnered with a local finishing business, Tinted Timber Finishing, for all of our local finishing needs. By doing this, we have taken the guess work out of the worry of - how will this turn out? We KNOW you will get a quality finish and IF there is an issue with the finishing, we handle it for you- after all YOU are OUR customer first!  

 

 Q: Does Barewood have a delivery service?

Barewood does not have an inhouse delivery service, but we recommend Shawn and Shawn Moving, another locally owned small business for your moving needs. With a 4.8 star rating on Google, we have selected them to partner with for a reason- they will take care of you as well as we do! They are also licensed, bonded and insured, which gives you additional piece of mind! 

 

Q: How durable are your products, and what kind of warranty or guarantee do you offer?

Barewood products are built to last. Just like us, our vendors stand behind their products with generous warranties on manufacturer's defects, offering peace of mind to our shared customers.

 

Q: Do you offer customization options for your products, such as different sizes or finishes?

At Barewood we understand that every customer has unique needs based on their home and life. With a large variety of manufacturers with a-la-cart products in a multitude of sizes, we can usually find products to meet anyone's desires off- the-rack. But, for those who have a need for custom sizing, or style, we also have manufacturers that can build items to your specific requirements. And since we provide custom finishing, items can be finished to fit together to fit anyone's style!

 

Q: Can you provide measurements or dimensions for your products to ensure they will fit my space?

Detailed measurements and dimensions for each product are provided on our website, ensuring that you can confidently select furniture that will fit perfectly in your space. If you are looking for a measurement NOT on our website, please contact us with the item name and wood type so we can answer any additional questions for you!

 

Q: Are your products suitable for indoor and outdoor use, or are they designed for specific environments?

While our primary focus is on indoor furniture, many of our unfinished products can be finished to withstand the elements and enhance your outdoor living spaces. We are also have a small selection of outdoor furniture from John Thomas Furniture and Fighting Creek.

 

Q: Do you offer any discounts or promotions for bulk orders or repeat customers?

We pride ourselves on being different than those big box stores, and this is another one of those ways. We do not believe in marking up our furniture astronomically everyday to sell furniture during "sales". Here, like our REAL wood furniture, we give you the REAL price everyday, so whether you buy now or next week, you won't have to worry about us giving you an inflated price. We do offer an everyday four or more bedroom piece discount of 10% on furniture pieces and a 5% off discount for our Military Service members. 

 

Q: What is your shipping policy?

We do not currently ship, but may look into this in the future.

 

Q: Do you offer financing?

We do offer financing through Synchrony Home. We can use existing Synchrony Home lines of credit from any major furniture retailer for in-store purchases or we can open a new one for you. Please contact store for more information including 0% financing options.

 

Q: How do you handle returns and exchanges if a customer is not satisfied with their purchase?

Due to the highly customizable products we provide, we do not provide refunds or exchanges. However, as you can see from our reviews, customer satisfaction is our first priority.

 

Q:Can you provide references or customer reviews/testimonials for your products and services?

Q: Are there any specific care instructions for maintaining your products?

Proper care and maintenance are essential for preserving the beauty and longevity of your furniture. We provide detailed care instructions for each product to help you keep your furniture looking its best for years to come. Q: Are your products handmade or mass-produced?

While some of our products are handcrafted by skilled craftsman, others are manufactured using advanced production techniques. Each piece is carefully inspected to ensure the highest quality standards are met both in the manufacturing process as well as locally once it arrives.

 

Q: Can you provide information about the craftsmanship and quality control standards of your products?

Our number one rule is: If we wouldn't want it in our home, we don't want to put it in yours! Our team takes pride in our products, so items are vetted before they find their way to our floor.

 

Q: What payment methods do you accept, and is the checkout process secure?

We offer a variety of secure payment options, including major credit cards, ApplePay, and GooglePay so you can shop with confidence knowing that your personal information is protected. We do not store your credit card information "on file"- we don't want that kind of responsibility!

 

Q: Do you have a physical showroom or store where customers can view your products in person?

While we show a vast number of products online, our primarily operating method is in our physical showroom where customers can view select pieces and finishes in person. This allows clients to see the quality and colors first hand (we don't hide things like that here!). Q: Do you offer any installation services or guidance for assembling your products?

If you are buying from us, we want to make things as easy as possible, so we assemble most furniture for you at our warehouse at no extra charge. If you choose to pick up items disassembled, all of our boxed items come with easy to follow directions for do-it-yourself assembly. 

 

Q: Are your products certified by any relevant organizations or meet specific industry standards?

Many of our products are certified by industry-leading organizations and meet strict quality and safety standards. Including the Federal Governments Anti-tipping Act. Look for the relevant certifications on our vendor's pages for added peace of mind.
